Clay Café is recruiting for 2 part time positions: Teen Summer Camp Instructor (June – Sept) and Part Time Studio Staff (available immediately).

Teen Summer Camp Instructor: Available mid-late June, through September 4. Teach our award winning summer art camp for our older (ages 10+) campers. Hours are Mon-Fri 10:45 am - 3:15 pm, every week from June 28-Sep 4. We will teach you everything and you will be part of a team for the summer. Great for school teachers out for the summer!

Qualifications:

Friendly, energetic, and enjoy and have experience in working with and teaching teens/middle school age children.
HS diploma required. Age 21+. Some college or college degree desirable.
Must be available Mon- Fri 10:45 - 3:15 every week from June 28 - Sept 4
Must be artistic and/or crafty, great with a glue gun, paints, clay and other fun but messy mediums.
Prior work in a teaching or arts education environment required.
Must have your own transportation
Safety and background check required, TB test required

Part Time Studio Staff: Available immediately. Shifts required are 1-2 weekday evenings (3-7 pm or 3-8 pm) and 2-3 weekends per month (Sat 12-8 pm, Sun 12-5 pm). Great for teachers, teaching students, artists, nannies, anyone interested in working with the arts and with children and families.

Qualifications:

Friendly, energetic, and enjoy and have experience in working with children.
HS diploma required. Age 19+. Some college or college degree desirable.
Must be available to 1-2 week nights and 2- 3 weekends/month.
PC skills are required.
Prior work in a service industry or restaurant is desirable.
